Overview
Embark on an exciting two-day safari through Tsavo East National Park and Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, combining thrilling game drives, spectacular African landscapes, diverse wildlife, and a unique overnight experience at the famous Salt Lick Safari Lodge.
Itineraries
Day 1: Diani Beach / Mombasa – Tsavo East – Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary
Depart early from your hotel and travel to Tsavo East National Park, renowned for its vast savannahs, red elephants, and rich wildlife. Enter the park for a morning game drive in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and other animals. Continue to the designated lodge for lunch before travelling to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before checking in at Salt Lick Safari Lodge, famous for its elevated rooms and wildlife viewing around the waterhole. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 2: Taita Hills – Morning Game Drive – Return Journey
Wake up early for a morning game drive in Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, when wildlife is often most active. Look out for elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and predators as you explore the sanctuary. Return to the lodge for breakfast before checking out and beginning the journey back to your hotel in Diani Beach, Mombasa, or another agreed drop-off point.
The itinerary may be adjusted depending on wildlife movements, road conditions, lodge availability, and your preferred accommodation category.
All refunds are subject to the relevant terms and conditions of airlines, accommodation establishments, national parks, conservation areas, and other third-party service providers. Any non-refundable payments or additional charges imposed by these providers will be deducted from the refund, where applicable.
- 60 days or more before departure: Cancellations made at least 60 days before the scheduled safari date qualify for a refund, minus the non-refundable deposit and any expenses or fees already paid to third-party providers.
30–59 days before departure: Cancellations made within this period will incur a fee equal to 50% of the total safari price.
15–29 days before departure: Cancellations made within this period will incur a fee equal to 75% of the total safari price.
14 days or fewer before departure: Cancellations made within 14 days of departure are non-refundable. The same applies to guests who fail to arrive for their scheduled safari without prior notice.
