Itineraries
8:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Hotel Pickup & Journey to Funzi Island
Depart from your hotel and travel towards the Funzi area, enjoying the beautiful coastal scenery along the way. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and prepare for your island adventure.
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Mangrove Boat Adventure & Wildlife Viewing
Cruise through the scenic mangrove channels by boat, admire the lush coastal vegetation, and look out for birds and other wildlife while learning about the importance of mangrove ecosystems.
12:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Island Exploration & Lunch
Explore the local surroundings, experience aspects of traditional coastal life, and enjoy a delicious lunch featuring local flavours. Relax and take in the peaceful island atmosphere.
2:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Beach Relaxation & Return Journey
Enjoy leisure time along the beach, capture memorable photographs, and appreciate the beautiful coastal scenery before returning to the mainland and travelling back to your hotel.
The itinerary may be adjusted depending on wildlife movements, road conditions, lodge availability, and your preferred accommodation category.
All refunds are subject to the relevant terms and conditions of airlines, accommodation establishments, national parks, conservation areas, and other third-party service providers. Any non-refundable payments or additional charges imposed by these providers will be deducted from the refund, where applicable.
- 60 days or more before departure: Cancellations made at least 60 days before the scheduled safari date qualify for a refund, minus the non-refundable deposit and any expenses or fees already paid to third-party providers.
30–59 days before departure: Cancellations made within this period will incur a fee equal to 50% of the total safari price.
15–29 days before departure: Cancellations made within this period will incur a fee equal to 75% of the total safari price.
14 days or fewer before departure: Cancellations made within 14 days of departure are non-refundable. The same applies to guests who fail to arrive for their scheduled safari without prior notice.
