Itineraries
Day 1: Fly from Diani Beach to Masai Mara
Early Morning – Transfer to Ukunda Airstrip
Enjoy a transfer from your hotel in Diani Beach to Ukunda Airstrip for your scheduled flight to the Masai Mara. Take in spectacular aerial views of Kenya’s diverse landscapes as you travel to the reserve.
Morning – Arrival and Transfer to Camp
Upon arrival at the designated airstrip in the Masai Mara, meet your safari guide and transfer to your lodge or tented camp. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a game drive en route to your accommodation.
Afternoon – Game Drive
After lunch and some relaxation, head out for your first afternoon game drive. Explore the open plains in search of lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife.
Return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the African wilderness.
Meals: Lunch and dinner.
Day 2: Full-Day Masai Mara Safari
Early Morning – Morning Game Drive
Rise early for an exciting game drive when wildlife is often most active. Explore different areas of the reserve with your guide, tracking predators and observing the behaviour of the animals in their natural habitat.
Morning – Breakfast and Wildlife Exploration
Depending on your chosen package, return to camp for breakfast or enjoy a packed breakfast during an extended game drive. Continue exploring the Mara’s vast grasslands, riverine forests, and wildlife-rich plains.
Afternoon – Lunch and Game Drive
Enjoy lunch at your camp or as a picnic in the reserve, depending on your arrangements. Continue your afternoon game drive in search of the Big Five and other wildlife. During the migration season, you may also witness large herds of wildebeest and zebras, depending on their movements.
Return to camp in the evening for dinner and your second overnight stay.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Return to Diani Beach
Early Morning – Final Game Drive
Begin your final day with an early morning game drive across the Masai Mara plains. Enjoy another opportunity to spot wildlife and capture memorable photographs before returning to camp.
Morning – Breakfast and Check-Out
Return to camp for breakfast, then prepare for departure. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for a short game drive or a transfer directly to the airstrip.
Late Morning or Afternoon – Flight to Diani Beach
Board your scheduled flight back to Ukunda Airstrip. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Diani Beach, concluding your three-day Masai Mara safari.
Meals: Breakfast and lunch, depending on the flight schedule and package.
The itinerary may be adjusted depending on wildlife movements, road conditions, lodge availability, and your preferred accommodation category.
All refunds are subject to the relevant terms and conditions of airlines, accommodation establishments, national parks, conservation areas, and other third-party service providers. Any non-refundable payments or additional charges imposed by these providers will be deducted from the refund, where applicable.
- 60 days or more before departure: Cancellations made at least 60 days before the scheduled safari date qualify for a refund, minus the non-refundable deposit and any expenses or fees already paid to third-party providers.
30–59 days before departure: Cancellations made within this period will incur a fee equal to 50% of the total safari price.
15–29 days before departure: Cancellations made within this period will incur a fee equal to 75% of the total safari price.
14 days or fewer before departure: Cancellations made within 14 days of departure are non-refundable. The same applies to guests who fail to arrive for their scheduled safari without prior notice.
