Overview
Experience an exciting day safari from Diani Beach to Tsavo East National Park. Depart early for thrilling game drives across vast savannahs, encounter Kenya’s famous red elephants, and search for lions, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife before returning to Diani Beach in the evening.
Itineraries
5:00 AM – Departure from Diani Beach
Begin your safari with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Diani Beach. Travel towards Tsavo East National Park, enjoying the changing landscapes along the way.
8:00 AM – Enter Tsavo East National Park
Arrive at the park and begin your morning game drive. Look out for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and other wildlife roaming the open plains.
10:30 AM – Explore the Savannah
Continue your game drive through Tsavo East’s dramatic landscapes. Visit scenic wildlife areas and enjoy photography opportunities as your guide helps you spot animals and understand their behaviour.
12:30 PM – Lunch Break
Enjoy lunch at a lodge or designated picnic site, depending on your package and arrangements. Take a short break before continuing your afternoon wildlife adventure.
1:30 PM – Afternoon Game Drive
Head out for another game drive in search of wildlife. Look for Tsavo’s iconic red elephants, antelopes, giraffes, and predators while exploring more of the park’s vast wilderness.
3:00 PM – Depart Tsavo East
Begin your journey out of the park and drive back towards Diani Beach, carrying unforgettable memories of Kenya’s wildlife and landscapes.
6:00–7:00 PM – Arrival in Diani Beach
Arrive back at your hotel in the evening, concluding your Tsavo East day safari. Arrival time may vary depending on traffic, road conditions, and the park exit used.
The itinerary may be adjusted depending on wildlife movements, road conditions, lodge availability, and your preferred accommodation category.
All refunds are subject to the relevant terms and conditions of airlines, accommodation establishments, national parks, conservation areas, and other third-party service providers. Any non-refundable payments or additional charges imposed by these providers will be deducted from the refund, where applicable.
- 60 days or more before departure: Cancellations made at least 60 days before the scheduled safari date qualify for a refund, minus the non-refundable deposit and any expenses or fees already paid to third-party providers.
30–59 days before departure: Cancellations made within this period will incur a fee equal to 50% of the total safari price.
15–29 days before departure: Cancellations made within this period will incur a fee equal to 75% of the total safari price.
14 days or fewer before departure: Cancellations made within 14 days of departure are non-refundable. The same applies to guests who fail to arrive for their scheduled safari without prior notice.
