Itineraries
8:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Hotel Pickup & Journey to Shimba Hills
Depart from your hotel in Diani Beach and travel to Shimba Hills National Reserve. Enjoy the scenic countryside as you make your way to one of Kenya’s most beautiful coastal forest reserves. Upon arrival, enter the reserve and begin exploring its diverse natural landscapes.
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Morning Game Drive & Wildlife Viewing
Enjoy a guided game drive through the reserve in search of elephants, sable antelopes, giraffes, buffaloes, and other wildlife. Discover the reserve’s rich biodiversity, rolling green hills, and indigenous forests while learning about its unique ecosystem.
12:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Sheldrick Falls Nature Hike
Embark on a guided hike through the forest to the beautiful Sheldrick Falls. Enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings, listen to the sounds of the forest, and admire the cascading waterfall. Take photographs and relax at the falls before beginning the return hike. The trail includes uneven terrain and can be slippery, so suitable walking shoes are recommended.
2:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Lunch, Afternoon Game Drive & Return
Enjoy lunch as arranged in your tour package, followed by a final scenic drive through the reserve if time permits. Begin the return journey to Diani Beach, arriving at your hotel in the afternoon.
The itinerary may be adjusted depending on wildlife movements, road conditions, lodge availability, and your preferred accommodation category.
All refunds are subject to the relevant terms and conditions of airlines, accommodation establishments, national parks, conservation areas, and other third-party service providers. Any non-refundable payments or additional charges imposed by these providers will be deducted from the refund, where applicable.
- 60 days or more before departure: Cancellations made at least 60 days before the scheduled safari date qualify for a refund, minus the non-refundable deposit and any expenses or fees already paid to third-party providers.
30–59 days before departure: Cancellations made within this period will incur a fee equal to 50% of the total safari price.
15–29 days before departure: Cancellations made within this period will incur a fee equal to 75% of the total safari price.
14 days or fewer before departure: Cancellations made within 14 days of departure are non-refundable. The same applies to guests who fail to arrive for their scheduled safari without prior notice.
